Far Gosford Street Christmas Event

Free Family Christmas Event!

Far Gosford Street is throwing a Christmas party for residents, retailers and shoppers on Thursday 9 December and everyone is invited.

Following the success of previous years, this exciting event is taking place on the public square at the top of Far Gosford Street from 4pm to 6pm.

The activities on offer includes music from the local Southfields School, Gosford Park School and All Saints Primary School and other exciting performances. Also on offer this year will be balloon modelling, circus skills and you can also make your own Christmas decoration to take home!

Cllr Linda Bigham, Cabinet Member for City Services and Development, said: "This is a great way to start off the Christmas festivities, and if the snow is still around it will add to the great atmosphere."

There will be the chance to visit Father Christmas in his grotto and hot chocolate will be served throughout the evening.

The finale to the event will be the Christmas tree lights switch on.

So don't forget Thursday 9th December 4pm for your start to a very Merry Christmas.
